Summer can be pretty tough on your feet! A combination of warmer, drier weather and wearing jandals and bare feet more often can lead to the following common summer foot complaints…

Athlete’s Foot – a fungal infection of the feet, can be itchy and flaky on the soles of the feet and itchy painful and macerated between the toes.
Cracked Heels – not just confined to the heels, this is an unsightly and sometimes painful problem that, if left untreated, can lead to infections.
Sports Injuries – as the weather warms up, we all shed our layers and head outside. Naturally, being more active means we are more susceptible to injuries of the feet and legs.
Cuts and Scrapes – the position of the feet makes them susceptible to being cut, but it also means those cuts come into contact with a lot of bacteria!
